The La Vernia High School band program received all 1’s (outstanding) ratings at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest in Seguin. Great job to the La Vernia Mighty Bear Band!

Jada Green set a record for La Vernia High School. She also placed 6th in the 100-meter dash and 4th in the 200-meter dash at the State Meet.
Life Skills and ALE students promoted Acts of Kindness this spring by making Easter Baskets for the children and families of the Ronald McDonald House.
The La Vernia FFA Ag Mechanics CDE team placed 1st in the Area VII Ag Mechanics competition at Texas State University! The win secured their running in the state competition.
This group of students took FIRST place in the region out of 249 teams in the Stock Market Game. They placed second in the state out of 1715 teams!!
