Alvin High School Hosts “Reality Fair”



Seniors at Alvin High School had their eyes opened to real-world problems of budgeting at the school’s “Reality Fair.”  Students were shocked to learn how much income is required to pay all their necessary bills, and they realized the importance of planning and budgeting their money.  The Reality Fair is an effective way that Alvin ISD is helping to prepare students for life beyond graduation.  Whether they plan to attend college or go straight into a career, they will take these life lessons with them.
