Our schools invite students, parents, and staff across the district to participate in using official school-wide social media hashtags. The hashtags can bring attention to special events, highlight district accomplishments, inspire students to be involved in activities, commend amazing teachers, instill school pride, and so much more!
We love seeing these engaging posts and community involvement! Everyone can be a part of the trending conversations, but please be aware of your school’s social media rules and media release procedures before photographing and posting students or school events. Connect with your school directly if you have questions.

Friendswood ISD uses #OutOfTheBlue to highlight interesting activities within the district, and it is so much fun to follow!
Friendswood ISD also happens to have a very involved and enthusiastic superintendent. Each month, FISD Superintendent Thad Roher accepts a challenge from one lucky student within the district. In the second installment of the popular “Challenge Accepted” series, FHS Special Olympics swimmer Warren Dunphy-Miller challenged Mr. Roher to a backstroke race.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that.” Humble ISD has made this quote their mantra with #BeTheLight. Humble ISD encourages teachers to “Be The Light” for their students, make a difference in their lives, and be positive role models.
Rival football teams Atascocita HS and Kingwood HS came together to raise awareness for Gold, Fight, Win to end childhood cancer in front of a crowd of 9000! The teams worked under the theme “Together we are stronger” and they invited all fans to wear gold to the game.
