Alief 6th Graders Learn Life Skills

Alief ISD 6th graders learn career skills from simulated town.

Each year, all Alief ISD 6th grade students attend JABizTown, where learning leaps off the pages and into the real world. BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit.

In this simulated town, students have the opportunity to run businesses, write checks, manage a restaurant, and even vote for the mayor. What a great day of hands-on learning and real-world connections!
