NORTH EAST ISD GIRLS SOCCER STAR WINS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
North East ISD soccer player and star, Jillian Martinez, won the title of Gatorade’s Texas Girls Soccer Player of the Year. The Madison High School graduate credits her support system for this outstanding achievement. She also thanks her school district advocates.
“Throughout the years, I have had the support of my NEISD teachers, administrators, and coaches,” she said. “Many teachers and coaches have inspired me and motivated me to be the best student-athlete I can be.”
In addition to playing soccer for UCLA, Jillian plans to play professional soccer and eventually return to her San Antonio community to serve as a pediatrician.
We wish Jillian all the best in her future athletic endeavors. NEISD and her public schools are proud of her accomplishments!
