HEB ISD Engages Students in Hands-On Learning

HEB ISD Students hands-on learning

Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is bringing learning to life with innovative, hands-on experiences that foster critical thinking and real-world skills.

With the help of a generous donation from the HEB ISD Education Foundation and Parker Law Firm, students at KEYS High School are growing an indoor garden. This project, led by Dr. Benton, encourages scientific inquiry, environmental consciousness, and accountability.

In the meantime, Ms. Krier’s third-graders at Bell Manor Elementary took on the role of detectives, sifting through top-secret case files to separate opinions from facts and solve cases. This interesting exercise made learning enjoyable while honing their analytical abilities.

Through engaging and relevant learning experiences, HEB ISD continues to inspire young minds in areas such as sustainable gardening and investigative problem-solving.
