The student organization, FFA (Future Farmers of America), provides leadership and personal growth opportunities, as well as public speaking skills. One of the main components of the Ag/FFA program is the livestock program. This program allows students to purchase and raise a livestock species of their choice and exhibit at different stock shows. Students care for the animals and learn everything from hard work to acceptance due to loss when they have to sell their animals at the end of show season. Leadership, responsibility, hard work, integrity and growth are its benefits.
