LibraryPalooza is an author festival for teens in Northside ISD, San Antonio. This event is free and open to the public.
This year’s event includes the following authors:​
Kendare Blake, New York Times bestselling author and Cybils Award winner

Libba Bray, New York Times bestselling author and Printz Award winner

Jason Reynolds, New York Times bestselling author, winner of the Coretta Scott King Award, NAACP Image Award, and longlisted for the National Book Award. He was recently featured on “CBS This Morning” and “The Daily Show.”

Sabaa Tahir, New York Times bestselling author and winner of the GoodReads Choice Debut Award

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase books on site (or bring them from home) and have them signed by the authors. The event is open to middle and high school students. There is no cost for the event and no advanced registration is required. Food will be available for purchase (cash only) via food trucks during the lunch break in the back bus loop and concessions in the cafeteria. A percentage of all sales will go to Friends of Northside Libraries. The program is sponsored by the Friends of Northside Libraries, and is made possible in part by contributions from Northside ISD, H-E-B, Barnes & Noble, and Whataburger.
