Pilot Point ISD Promotes Student Socializing

Pilot point community

Pilot Point ISD is all about student mingling, connecting, and face-to face interacting! Across their campuses, the Pilot Point community is one that values mentorship and the school culture that comes when students build relationships with one another.

Pilot Point ISD has introduced two programs in partnership with Pilot Point Elementary, Pilot Point High School, and their Student-Based Law Enforcement team. These initiatives are designed to strengthen relationships, foster leadership, and create positive role models across our Bearcat community; bringing unity and kindness to life, Bearcat style!

The first of the two is Bearcat Buddies, where every Friday, high school football players & cheerleaders welcome elementary students at drop-off, then mentor 5th graders with academics, citizenship, and school spirit.

The second program is Bearcat Lunch, where on the 1st Wednesday of each month, high school students eat lunch, tutor, and join specials with younger Bearcats.

Not to mention, at Pilot Point Selz Middle School, students are embracing Texas’ new no-phone policy as they shuffle cards and share laughs over intense UNO matches at lunch. The cafeteria is buzzing with real conversations, friendly competition, and genuine connections.
