Mission

Needville ISD strives to create an environment where students reach their full potential and become productive, successful citizens.

Highlights

Needville Independent School District: Great Schools, Rich Traditions, Proud Community.

Our students are the centerpiece of our schools and our schools are the centerpiece of our community. NISD students excel in a variety of arenas such as sports where the high school teams have qualified for playoffs and won district championships in multiple sports even winning a State Championship in Volleyball in 2017 and playing in the state championship in 2018. We have won the district academic U.I.L. meet for more than 10 years straight and many students have qualified for State. Our fine arts programs are thriving as well as our Career and Technical Education programs. In particular, our Agricultural department has excelled at State and National competitions while being awarded a variety of Grand and Reserve Champions in different classifications. This certainly demonstrates the well-roundedness of our students.

Needville has always had a great partnership between the school district and the community, which is our strongest tradition. This partnership is exemplified by the achievement and accomplishments of the students. Through the state accountability system, our district’s approach of the development of the whole child is affirmed by the “A” rating Needville I.S.D. earned.
