Santa Fe ISD

Prepare, Achieve, Succeed

Mission

Santa Fe ISD is an academic leader committed to excellence through continuous improvement by instilling high standards, building strong community partnerships, providing innovative opportunities, and empowering students for lifelong success.

Highlights

Beginning with early childhood education, Santa Fe ISD provides one to one technology access to all students to apply in classroom learning experiences.

Our youngest students experience a variety of learning opportunities including science labs, STEM labs, Robotics, historical research and literacy libraries to build reading and vocabulary skills.

Secondary Advanced Academic Programs such as AVID, PreAP courses, Dual credit and AP courses challenge and support learning at high levels preparing them for post-secondary success.

Students at all levels excel in academic challenges in state and local competition including National History Day, Robotics, UIL Academics, SAT, ACT and career certifications. Participation in honors and enrichment programs allows students to assume leadership roles in courses or organizations such as Student Council, PALS, Safety Patrol, DARE and Law Enforcement Explorers where students have many opportunities to serve and grow as citizens and develop skills to enable them to make meaningful contributions to society throughout life.

On campuses across the Santa Fe school district, opportunities for students to participate in high-quality arts instruction and activities are a result of integrating art and music into the K-12 curriculum.

Athletics is the building block for promoting school pride. Our athletic programs excel beyond district level play, and in 2011 our Softball Team brought a State Title home to Santa Fe public schools.

Our Career and Technical Education programs offer a wide range of courses to meet the student’s interests and prepare them for viable careers such as floral design, culinary arts, architecture and construction, audio-visual technology, business, health science, and agriculture.
