Richardson ISD students from Richland Elementary celebrated excellence and growth in MAP test scores with an award ceremony and glow-in-the-dark party.
Richland Elementary held the Excellence Awards Ceremony during specials period, where students from each grade level were honored for various achievements, including MAP growth. School staff handed out awards, and students held them proudly, relishing their accomplishments after a year of hard work and educational development.

To celebrate students’ growth in MAP scores, Richland Elementary threw a MAP Glow and Grow party. Under ultraviolet light, students enjoyed a colorful reward for their work. They sported glow sticks, light-up sunglasses, and glow-in-the-dark face paint as they danced around a floor of glowing balloons.

The smiling faces on these Richland Elementary students show that this was an enjoyable recognition of their efforts. The students’ joy and teachers’ pride shine through, encouraging continued growth and excellence for years to come.
