Royal ISD Honor Roll Celebrates With Flavor

Royal ISD students on the Bluebell Field Trip

Royal ISD A/B honor roll students from Royal Junior High School celebrated their accomplishments with two delicious celebrations. The 8th-grade honor roll students took a field trip to the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory and enjoyed a barbecue at the school.

RJHS 8th-grade honor roll students learned about the process of making Texas-favorite Blue Bell ice cream during their trip. RJHS’ Ms. Morgan, Coach Espinoza, Coach Ramos, and Coach Moyer treated students to a round of ice cream as a reward for their hard work throughout the year.

These students also celebrated their achievements with a barbecue lunch in the school courtyard. Students enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, carne asada, chips, and cookies cooked by RJHS’ Coach Ramos. They played lotería, and the winners received prizes from Ms. Jaramillo. The barbecue was also made possible by the event’s DJ, Coach Espinoza, school secretary Ms. Stockman, and sous chef Ms. Morgan.
