Abilene ISD time and time again shows how much they truly care about the artistic growth of all of their students–from the time each kid steps foot into their first ever class to their last step out of school.

It can be hard to come up with ways to inspire students, but Abilene ISD makes sure their kids have amazing projects on hand even at early ages, such as at Austin Elementary, where kindergarteners are learning to weave and fourth graders are learning to do printmaking.

Abilene takes charge in helping students feel proud of their work as well. Middle schoolers help to promote fine arts to elementary students and show them what they can accomplish in years to come.

Even better, Abilene displays student artwork in art museums like the local Grace Art Museum (pictured above), to help students take pride in their work and feel a sense of creative accomplishment.
