Little Elm ISD Explores Outdoor Learning

Little Elm ISD students from across the district are getting to explore outside the classroom during a field trip to the St. Arbor Community Garden!

The Community Garden collaborated with the Little Elm Rotary to offer an incredible day of exploration for the GT fourth graders. From composting to aquaponics, students got to engage in a wide range of hands-on activities that brought science lessons to life. They built worm houses, observed runoff water areas, and even got to study honey bees and their hives. Students were able to navigate the outdoor challenges together, utilizing their problem-solving skills through collaboration.

Working alongside community organizations and educators, Little Elm ISD can continue to provide a space for students to grow and explore the world around them!
