McAllen ISD celebrated the success of their Culinary Arts students as they took their talents to the Texas ProStart Invitational!
Competing among more than 1,000 other students, McAllen ISD made their mark on the competition as only one of two districts representing the entire Rio Grande Valley. Students competed in a variety of culinary events, from individual competitions to team experiences like the Restaurant Management event. This competition was one of many opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in their future culinary fields, allowing them to refine their craft while still building leadership skills that extend far beyond the kitchen.
Backed by the encouragement of their schools and community, these students showcased their talents with pride throughout every step of the competition. McAllen ISD is incredibly proud to celebrate these students and they continue to grow through the culinary arts program!
