Alief ISD is proud of their Alief Early College High School student, Kelsey Mosely, for placing 3rd Nationally as Best Speaker in the World Schools Debate category.
The debate coach, Mrs. Freeman, is excellent at preparing these students for a national contest. Alief ISD hopes to continue seeing fine arts students accomplish their goals and be an ultimate example of hard work and determination within their district!
The National Speech & Debate Association provides recognition and support for students participating in speech and debate activities. The association connects, supports, and inspires a diverse community committed to empowering students through competitive speech and debate.
The association creates a platform for youth voices to be heard and celebrated, which culminates with an annual National Tournament, the pinnacle of public speaking.
