The UIL Congress Contest is a mock legislative assembly, where contestants draft proposed laws and position statements, submit them to the tournament, and research the docket of bills and resolutions on real-world social and political issues. They then prepare speeches to present their ideas during the contest.

Velasquez and Pruner exemplify the excellence and dedication of Royal ISD students, proving they are ready to make an impact in both local and global communities.
