Sheldon ISD and the Board of Trustees held their first-ever Sheldon Spotlight Awards. The awards were aimed at recognizing exceptional student achievements across the district. Approximately 300 students from all grade levels were honored for their accomplishments at the regional, state, and national levels in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.
During this special event, students supported by faculty, family, and the Sheldon ISD community gathered to celebrate their work and dedication.
This new tradition will take place twice a year, once during the fall semester and again in the spring. Sheldon ISD hopes to highlight the district’s “commitment to acknowledging student excellence and inspiring continued success.” Congratulations to these Sheldon ISD students for excelling in everything they do!
