Lewisville ISD is uniquely celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)! Ahead of the 7th annual HBCU College Fair, the district has raised awareness of HBCUs in all high schools in collaboration with LISD Child Nutrition Services.
While school counselors and members from the HBCU Fair Committee provided insightful information on the 107 accredited HBCUs in the United States, the Child Nutrition team distributed personalized refreshments on behalf of Prairie View A&M, Grambling State, and Howard University.
Hebron High School hosted the HBCU College Fair, where students networked with professionals and learned more about available possibilities.
