Slidell ISD’s Mrs. Williams recently met with the junior high and high school Greyhound Ambassadors to explore Habit #4 from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, along with a discussion on recent achievements and areas for growth during the past six weeks.

The Greyhound Ambassadors is a student leadership program at Slidell ISD. Led by Mrs. Williams, the program focuses on developing leadership skills among students. Activities include leadership retreats and regular meetings to discuss topics such as “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens” by Sean Covey, a self-help book that provides practical advice and principles to help teenagers develop leadership skills, build confidence, and make positive life choices.
These students have successfully advocated for several district adjustments aimed at enhancing their educational experience. Their dedication to representing their peers with pride is commendable!
