Dickinson ISD’s very own are hitting the big stage. Charliebird, a summer film project, won big at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. The film, featuring Dickinson students and staff, has just won Best U.S Narrative Feature.

Dickinson ISD board trustees Mary Anthamatten and Jessica Rodriguez were featured in the film, as well as her son Matthew Rodriguez. The film featured many parts of campus and town as well as the community in roles as extras.

The win shows off Dickinson’s community and the extraordinary talent that comes from Gator Nation.
