Through CTE programs, Fairfield ISD gains hands-on expertise, industry certifications, and technical skills, preparing them for success after graduation.
February highlights how CTE pathways provide learning experiences across business, industry, public services, arts and humanities, multidisciplinary studies, and STEM. At Fairfield High School, Agriculture teacher, Savannah Ellis, leads a dynamic program offering courses in Greenhouse Management, Floral Design, Advanced Plant and Soil, Principles of Agriculture, and Small Animal Management/Equine. This program offers students opportunities to build technical expertise and gain important industry certifications. Students extend their learning through FFA and Career Development Events, strengthening their leadership skills and applying knowledge beyond the classroom.
Through strong CTE programs and dedicated educators, Fairfield ISD equips students with confidence, certifications, and career-ready skills that will prepare them for success.
