Friendswood ISD Biomedical Innovation students participated in the Lunch with a Scientist event. This experience connected students with a diverse group of biomedical professionals. Students were able to have one-on-one discussions where they gained insights into possible future careers and paths within the biomedical field.
The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science program is part of Friendswood ISD’s CTE offerings. PLTW students work with the same tools used by professionals in hospitals and labs.
In addition, students engage in compelling, hands-on activities and work together to find solutions to problems. PLTW students take in-demand courses that help build skill they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives.
