February is CTE month, as Harlandale ISD celebrates the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, which provides students with the opportunities, skills, and knowledge needed to become College and Career Ready. Harlandale ISD students can choose from over 20 programs of study across 12 career clusters, combining rigorous academics with real-world, work-based learning experiences.

In these programs, teachers with actual industry experience work closely with students, providing them with a deeper understanding of their chosen careers and hands-on training that closely mirrors the skills needed in the workforce.

The Harlandale ISD CTE Center kicks off the month of February with the Dental Assisting Program. With this, students will gain a solid foundation to pursue certifications and careers in dental assisting and related fields.
