Judson ISD students from Judson HS had the opportunity to tour Texas A&M University and learn about the Horticulture program. Their experience even led them to something further than what they could have imagined.

During their tour, students had the opportunity to learn about agricultural sciences, research gardens, advanced greenhouses, and how to work directly with plants. This was an opportunity to finally take the objectives they had learned in the classroom and experience them in a real-world manner with educated professionals.

The next day, students from Judson HS decided to take action based on the lessons they had learned. The students planted new greenery in the garden at the Judson ISD’s Education Resource Center, creating a positive change for their community.
