Rockwall ISD students from the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy’s Dental 1 and Dental 2 programs recently put their skills into practice by volunteering at a community dental event at Globe Life Field. Assisting in the care of approximately 200 patients, they applied classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.

As part of the STEM program, the Academy provides students with opportunities to explore career pathways and earn professional certifications. Through hands-on experiences like this, future dental professionals gain valuable insight into their field while making a meaningful impact on the community.
