Woodville ISD places a strong emphasis on career readiness, hands-on activities, and networking: a well-rounded and balanced approach to education that sets up Woodville’s graduates for success. The kind of curriculum Woodville develops is an intersectional one and the opportunities to network are priceless.

As a testament to Woodville’s career preparation skills, Woodville High School graduate Carmelo Castle, completed the school’s four-year-old plumbing program and now works at a second-year tradesman level. He became the first in Texas to pass the state plumbing exam right out of high school.

At the middle school level, Gifted and Talented (GT) students are embarking on an exciting journey to discover the Woodville community and the resources it offers! They engaged with Texas District Attorney, Lucas Babin, to gain insights into the justice system and learn about the various ways individuals can get involved. This marks the start of a series aimed at enhancing their understanding of essential services and opportunities within our community.

Also at the Woodville Middle School campus, Coach Williams’ 7th Grade Science students are learning about chemical vs. physical changes by experimenting with fun and exciting chemicals in the lab.

Finally, Woodville Middle School’s High School Credit Art students are working on something special: a collaborative project to design and create an art gallery in the school hallway! This gallery will showcase student artwork on campus, giving young artists the chance to shine and allowing everyone to enjoy their creativity each day.
