Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD celebrates innovation and opportunity as Allison Guy, Language Acquisition Coach at Lakewood Elementary, was awarded a TangerKids grant for her project, Gamifying Language Acquisition.
The grant will support English as a Second Language students by providing engaging board games designed to help build language skills in a fun, low-pressure way. Families will also be able to check out games to continue practicing and learning at home, creating meaningful learning opportunities for students and families. Since 1996, TangerKids has invested more than $3.7 million to support teachers and enhance educational opportunities, funding projects like this to strengthen student success.
Congratulations to Allison Guy on this outstanding achievement! Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is proud to support innovative educators who create impactful learning experiences for students and families.
