High Steppers Dance Ensemble is designed for members of the drill team as an extra-curricular involvement. Members must audition during tryout period with continued work on dance skills with an emphasis on performance.

A Big Shout Out to our Varsity Color Guard! – The team competed in San Antonio at the Thunderbird Invitational Circuit Qualifier where they were the highest ranking 4A WinterGuard at the event. There were 65 schools at this competition from 3A to 6A. In addition, they were awarded a 3rd place trophy in their performance block only losing out to 5A & 6A Powerhouses. This color guard continues to be among the best in class 4A across the state.

Varsity Color Guard emphasizes the fundamentals of dance along with equipment movement (flags, rifles, sabers, and props) with choreographed routines and drill design. The color guard functions as an auxiliary unit to the marching band in Fall and an independent performance ensemble in the Spring. Opportunities also exist for individual expression through self-choreographed solos and ensembles.
