Spring Branch ISD JROTC students completed their annual inspection at the Guthrie Center, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

NJROTC cadets participate in several outside, extra-curricular activities throughout the school year and during the summer months. These opportunities provide hands-on experiences that actively stimulate learning and reinforce classroom instruction.

The NJROTC program, established in 1964, features retired Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard officers and enlisted personnel. Its accredited curriculum actively develops citizenship and leadership development, maritime heritage, the significance of sea power, and naval topics such as the fundamentals of naval operations, seamanship, navigation, and meteorology. Throughout the year, students enhance their learning through hands-on activities, including, community service, academic, athletic, drill competitions, field meets, flights, visits to naval bases and other activities, marksmanship sports, and physical fitness training.
