Forney ISD Academy at the OC students recently experienced science in a whole new way inside the LEX Immersive Room as the universe came to life.
Mrs. McCulloch’s science students explored the movement of the solar system, physically surrounding them with the content they study. Seeing the Earth rotate on its axis and revolve around the sun in an immersive environment made learning difficult concepts tangible and engaging. Students strengthened their grasp of scientific concepts while building curiosity and confidence. Experiences like this highlight the power of immersive learning, making science both impactful and inspiring.
Through this experience, Forney ISD students moved beyond memorization and toward true understanding!
