Cleveland ISD hosted the Gulf Coast Association for Pupil Transportation (GCAPT), led by CISD’s Transportation Director, Cody Cox. He also serves as the President Elect for the group, and was able to connect resources to host the ceremony! The event featured a special performance from the RBB Jazz Band and AFJROTC Color Guard. This was a wonderful opportunity to combine the interests of this group with the students it serves.
The Gulf Coast Association for Pupil Transportation (GCAPT) is a local chapter of the state organization, Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT) and the national organization, National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT). They exist to promote safe and efficient pupil transportation for Texas public school districts. Thanks to sponsors Buck’s Wheel & Equipment, Texas Alternator Starter Service and HopSkipDrive, the event went on without a hitch.
