Fort Sam Houston ISD Elementary students lit up Fire Prevention Week with their creativity and commitment to safety in the annual JBSA Fire Prevention Week Poster Contest.
Students from Pre-K through 5th grade designed amazing posters highlighting this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme, demonstrating creativity and a strong understanding of fire safety. Firefighters and the fire prevention team from JBSA Fire & Emergency Services visited campus to award trophies and certificates to participating students for their dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm for Fire Prevention Week. Occasions like this help reinforce the importance of fire safety lessons while offering students a creative outlet to express their understanding and strengthen the connection between schools and first responders.
By engaging Fort Sam Houston ISD students in creative educational activities and investing in fire safety education, Fort Sam Houston ISD continues to strengthen communities and keep families safe!
