Friendswood ISD congratulates Friendswood Future Farmers Of America (FFA) members for their success at the Texas City Prospect Show. Several members placed high in their respective class with some students winning Champion Showmanship in the Senior Showmanship Division.
The FFA is committed to making a positive impact in students’ lives by aiming to develop their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. FFA organizes a range of competitive events such as livestock judging, public speaking, and agricultural mechanics at local, regional, and national levels.
Future Farmers of America encourages a sense of community and service emphasizing the value of learning, doing and living to serve. This organization is a great space that equips students with practical skills, a passion for agriculture, and an understanding of the importance of sustainable practices.
