At Banuelos Elementary, volunteers from multiple GCCISD schools and members of CP Chemical’s BELIEVE group worked together to enhance the campus environment. Over 40 volunteers planted 50 trees, helping to create a greener, more welcoming space for students and families. Beyond this, students from GCCISD participated in the MLS Dream Wall Project, an initiative encouraging students to reflect on their aspirations, reinforcing Dr. King’s message of hope and perseverance.

The new trees at Banuelos Elementary will brighten the campus for years to come, and the MLK Dream Wall gives students a chance to share their hopes and dreams. Beyond just improving the schools, the day brought people together, creating a stronger sense of community and leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.
