Southwest ISD brought students together for its Penguin Project performance of Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr.. From the opening number to the final bow, students delivered an outstanding show, demonstrating the many theatrical skills they developed throughout the school year!
The Penguin Project is a one-of-a-kind performing arts program designed to provide a creative outlet for children with special needs to showcase their talents. By pairing Penguin Project students with volunteers their same age, participants work side by side from the first rehearsal through the final performance. In Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr., cast members highlighted months of dedication through a truly heartwarming production surrounded by friends and family.
Southwest ISD is incredibly proud of these young artists as they continue their creative journey both on and off the stage!
