Leadership

Taylor Williams

I’ve dedicated my entire career to Slidell ISD, starting as a substitute teacher in 2009. I quickly developed a deep passion for this district and community, which led me to begin my teaching career in 2010. Over the years, I‚Äôve worn many hats, including teacher, student services director, testing and textbook coordinator, elementary principal, secondary principal, and now, superintendent. I feel truly fortunate to be a part of Greyhound Nation!

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Woman’s University and hold certifications as a PK-12 principal and superintendent. Additionally, I have teaching certifications in 4-8 Generalist, ESL, Special Education, and Family and Consumer Sciences.

Outside of work, my husband and I are proud parents to three wonderful children: Grady, Dixie, and Lyle. Our family also includes a Goldendoodle named Heidi, as well as goats, chickens, and cows. We love traveling together, enjoying the great outdoors, antiquing, and discovering hidden treasures at local thrift stores.
