EDGEWOOD ISD OFFERS A VARIETY OF MULTILINGUAL SERVICES
Edgewood ISD Multilingual Services provides leadership and support throughout all EISD campuses. Programs include Dual Language, English as a Second Language, and LOTE (Languages other than English).
No matter the learning environment, bilingual educators are eager to teach students about our diverse world of language and culture.
The mission of EISD Multilingual Services is to ensure that multilingual students develop high levels of academic, linguistic, and social skills.
The Dual Language Program allows students to become bilingual and bi-literate in both English and Spanish.
ESL Services provides curriculum and other resources to students and families who come to EISD knowing little or no English language.
LOTE Services works with students who speak languages other than English and Spanish to ensure they receive a great education.
