Southwest ISD had student representatives from Southwest Legacy High School make a trip to their feeder elementary schools. The Southwest Legacy student representatives participated in morning greetings, read-aloud, and small pep rallies with students during the elementary visits.
The event was held with the goals of promoting attendance and exposing future Southwest Legacy students to the many organizations offered at Southwest Legacy High School. Sky Harbour Elementary Principal, Ms. Sylvia Acuna, developed the idea “to promote attendance” and said that “having SWL students welcome our students to the school will show school community support”. Student representatives were a part of various student organizations including football, volleyball, tennis, dance, cheer, and student council.
The students at the feeder elementary visits had great and memorable times meeting Southwest Legacy student representatives. They were hyped up for attendance and their future as students at Southwest Legacy High School!
