Dickinson ISD’s 2023 Daddy Daughter Dance at Kranz Junior High was a huge success!
Career & Technical Education students in the education and cosmetology fields. Dickinson High School students in the education pathway assisted with the event by working with girls to make arts and crafts. We also had special help from the cosmetology pathway students who provided nail painting, hair styling, and even makeup!
Community members also came together to help make this event special. Thank you to DISD Operations & facilities, as well as the custodial staff for helping prepare the setup for the event. Thank you to the Dickinson ISD Food and Nutrition Services department for helping serve warm food to our attendees. Thank you to Gator’s Bar and Grill for providing a delicious hot chocolate bar. Thank you to Dominos in Dickinson for providing the pizza.
Thank you to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Officers who assisted with the event, as well as Del Papa for providing beverages, Mackey Mechanical for providing giveaways, Teddy Bear Mobile for providing a unique gift service, and the Photobooth by Kimber. Music was provided by Kathy and David Rosacci!
Finally, thanks to the Kranz Junior High staff for hosting this event and the DISD Human Resources team for assisting the foundation and the DISD Ed. Foundation Board members.
