Judson ISD’s Middle School Girls Athletics program partnered with Soldiers’ Angels to spread the love this Valentine’s Day. Every athlete made their own card to be sent out to a Veteran or Service Member, putting their care and appreciation into each one.
Soldiers’ Angels is an organization that provides aid and resources to both active and retired Service Members and their families. Their Valentine’s for Veterans program receives thousands of cards for Veterans and Service Members every year. These cards can be store bought or handmade, in an envelope or out, all they ask is that one dollar is included with each card to cover the cost of shipping, so that every Service Member can receive their festive cheer.
This program is a great way for students to give back, and the Judson Middle School Girls Athletics program did a great job making sure that everyone could share the love this Valentine’s Day.
