The Medina Valley ISD Automotive Technology CTE Program attended the annual Track Night in America event in San Marcos.
The Sports Car Club of America event “Track Night in America” is all about streetcars. MVHS students had the pleasure of working the event in various areas in the clubhouse. They checked waivers and driver’s helmets for proper certification tags, directed drivers by their Skill level, and helped vehicle tech inspections. Some students worked the flag booths on the turns in important areas of the track.
In reward for their hard work and efforts with their help, all 15 MVHS students were encouraged to find drivers who would let them ride in the passenger seats for a safe & strictly controlled “Parade Lap”.
From Exotics to daily sports cars, there were plenty of conversations, lessons, and advice given to the Automotive students!
