SystemsGo is the most real world engineering experience the students have had in their engineering career this far, working with NASA engineers to prove that their rocket is safe to launch. The students had the most successful launch and recovery to date, and we are so proud of their hard work and how they represented Hargrave high school and Huffman ISD.
SystemsGo is a proven innovative high school rocketry/aerospace curriculum that uses project-based learning to teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); to develop skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership; and to encourage careers in the engineering industries.
Students design and develop unmanned aerial vehicles for research or industrial applications. Advanced students develop hybrid rockets capable of lofting scientific payloads to 50,000 feet at White Sands Missile Range.
Graduates work in leadership positions at NASA, SpaceX, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and other prestigious industries and schools across the country.
