Santa Fe ISD’s RJ Wollam Elementary School hosted a fun STREAM night. This event included educationally engaging activities related to STREAM.
STREAM is very similar to STEM but with 2 additional components. STREAM stands for science, technology, reading/research, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Incorporating art and reading into STEM education recognizes that creativity, communication, and research skills are essential for any STEM professionals. It also acknowledges that these disciplines can intersect and coexists within the same field.
Hosting STREAM nights helps introduce children to what the field of STREAM is like. Having engaging activities helps students have a positive learning experience and succeed.
