Several San Antonio-area school districts extend ACE programs to students through the Communities in Schools Afterschool Centers on Education (CIS-ACE). These extra enrichment learning opportunities provide academic and tutorial services to assist students in meeting local and state academic achievement standards in math, reading, social studies, and science.
CIS-ACE also delivers an assortment of enrichment activities such as health, nutrition, wellness, youth development, fine arts, science, technology, physical fitness, community service, career exploration, civic responsibility, mentoring, and workforce readiness.
